 BACKGROUND

The publication of Beat the Dealer shook the gambling world, motivating thousands and thousands of gamblers to play blackjack. The book’s unique scientific method of playing the game--a method based on an analysis of actual winning hands--enabled many gamblers to gain a clear advantage over the house. By playing smartly, they could hit the jackpot.

In 2005 an enterprising California English professor performed similar research on winners—not winning cards, but real racing Quarter Horses. Research that has never been conducted before.

He analyzed 286 winning Quarter Horses at six major US tracks, recording crucial information about each horse’s trainer, jockey, post position, class, breeder, recent form, speed index, and more than 25 other racing factors.

After tabulating the results for each category, he created statistical profiles of winning horses that—for the first time in Quarter Horse racing history—actually rank the value of key handicapping variables.

A revolutionary breakthrough in horse racing...designed to help all levels of racing fans, including competitive horsemen, owners, trainers, breeders, handicappers, horseplayers, and gamblers, win more races by knowing which factors separate winning racehorses from also-rans.
